BackTrack enables young people who have lost their way to reconnect with education and training, become work ready and secure meaningful employment. Most importantly BackTrack helps young people to “get back on track” by developing strong, happy and healthy foundations that result in positive life pathways and full participation in their communities.
How BackTrack works
The young people BackTrack works with are mostly rural and aged between 12 and 19 years of age. They arrive at BackTrack with multiple and complex challenges in education, health, justice, housing and employment making it a struggle to fit into the mainstream system and society. There is little prospect of employment, or being able to maintain a happy, healthy and sustainable life.
